Imphal, November 09 2015:
The BJP Manipur Pradesh has been busy roping in aged politicians of the State in its fold as if the party is constructing an "old-age home" for them, said Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam.
He was speaking at a political conference organised in connection with the bye-election to the Thonju Assembly Constituency.
Speaking at the conference organised by Thonju AC INC election committee, the Deputy Chief Minister criticized the BJP for recruiting aged and retired politicians of the State as if they would invigorate the party.
Accusing the BJP of practicing communalism, Gaikhangam said that the party has even entered into an alliance with the Naga People's Front (NPF), a party whose intentions are well known in Manipur.
