One month AIEDP on food processing project kicks off

A 180 hour (one month) Advance Integrated Entrepreneurship Development Programme (AIEDP) on Food Processing Project was inaugurated today at Manipur Khadi and Villages Industries Board, Lamphelpat.
The programme has been organised by the National Small Industries Corporation Limited (A government of India enterprise) Sub branch at Uripok Achom Leikai.
The inaugural programme was attended by Vice Chairman, Manipur Khadi Villages & Industries Board, Y Nilamani Singh, Joint Director (MSME), Directorate of Commerce & Industries, G Khamei, Secretary, MKVIB Lamphelpat, N Jugindro Singh, Chairman, Manipur Industries Development Council, P Loken Singh, former general manager, District Industries Centre, Yumnam Raghumani Singh and CEO, MKVIB ,Th Ibomcha Singh as presidium members.

Speaking about the training programme, Manager, NSIC Imphal, L Ibetombi Devi said that during the 180 hour training programme, the trainees will be taught various ways to preserve the locally available fruits and vegetables.
She further stated that twenty unemployed youths of the State will be trained during this one month training programme.
