Imphal, May 20 2014 :
The Joint Students Coordination Committee (JSCC) has decried failure of Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) to come up with any response to its appeal to put on hold the process of holding the Manipur Civil Service main exam.
JSCC appealed to put on hold the main exam process after three answer keys were detected to a single question apart from declaring the preliminary exam result in two phases.
Speaking to newspersons at AMSU office, DM College compound today JSCC convenor Th Premananda said they went to submit a memorandum to the Governor but the same was left with his Secretary as the Governor was out of station.
JSCC members also went to meet MPSC Chairman and Secretary but they did not find any responsible officer at the MPSC office.
The Chairman, by staying outside the State at such critical situation, only exposed his casual attitude towards the civil services Exam.
The present situation of MPSC office looks like there is no authority to look after it.
It was disheartening and intriguing to see office rooms of the Chairman and the Secretary locked.
It seems the Chairman and Secretary are running away from their errors/wrongdoings instead of accepting them.
If the Chairman and Secretary are trying to sweep the matter under carpet, many unwanted incidents may unfold, he cautioned.
