Imphal, December 16 2010:
The state government is not sitting idle in solving the inconvenience caused by the development works being taken up in the Imphal city, said Works Minister K Ranjit today in the inaugural function of the Lairembi Community Hall at Keishampat Keisham Leikai.
Speaking in the occasion, Ranjit said that widening of the National Highways, State highways and inter village roads are being taken up by the state government.
People of the state are facing many inconveniences due to the developmental works.
But he assured that the government will do whatever it can to solve the problem and finish the various works as soon as possible.
Education Minister, L Jayentakumar graced the function as chief guest.
Works Minister K Ranjit, Speaker in charge, Manipur Legislative Assembly, Thokchom Lokeshore, MPCC Secretary, Jotin Waikhom and Councilor Ward No 9 of Imphal Municipal Council, M Sunil also attended the function as guests of honour.
Chairman, Manipur Pollution Control Board, E Dwijamani presided over the function.
