Winners of CCpur ACs vow to deliver promises made

The newly elected MLAs from the six assembly constituencies of Churachandpur district, shared their thoughts on winning the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, the results of which were declared on Thursday.
Talking to The People's Chronicle, Ngursanglur San-ate, the newly elected MLA from 55-Tipaimukh (ST) AC, stated that his primary duty would be to satisfy the aspirations of the youngsters and bring about employment for them, be it in the form farming or any other.
He said that despite the relatively small margin the trust reposed on him by the people would be cherished forever.
Ngursanglur (6267) had won the seat on JD (U) ticket with a margin of 1249 votes.
Meanwhile, Letzamang Haokip (13,897) won the seat of 57-Henglep (ST) AC on BJP ticket by a margin of 7848 votes.
He conveyed that his priority would be to construct all weathered roads linking the sub divisional headquarters of the constituency.
Letzamang then thanked God for his victory in the elections, in addition to his supporters, who were never bogged down by any pressure.
Paolienlal Haokip (18,457), who won the seat of 59-Saikot AC through BJP ticket, with a margin of 5871 votes, stressed that his win is due to the collaborative works with his 'Wind of Change Saikot' teams.
He then said that changing the system is his first priority to bring about all encompassing development, while adding that he will carry out his full responsibility to work for welfare of the people.
On the other hand, JD(U) candidate LM Khaute (18,231) won the election from 58-Churachandpur AC seat with a margin of 624 votes.
He thanked the Almighty and his teams for their efforts m steering towards the path of victory and assured of working towards bringing all communities together and ensure love and harmony.
Vungzagin Valte, the newly elected MLA from 56-Than-lon AC, said that he does not need to talk but show his promises and competence through action.
Vungzagin (4863) won the polls on BJP ticket by a margin of 751 votes.
Meanwhile, Chinlunthang (12,098), who won the seat of 60-Singhat AC on KPA ticket by a margin of 1919 votes, conveyed that his stance is clear and added I fiat he will 'try to work out all the points mentioned in the KPA manifesto into action.
