Cong kicks off poll campaign in Molkon, Parsian

Congress candidate of Molkon District Council Constituency under Saikul AC held a flag hoisting programme and blessing/prayer in Molkon village in Saikul AC on Friday.
Sitting Chairman of ADC Sadar Hills Haokholal Hangshing, who is also the "uncontested INC candidate" from Kangpokpi DCC hoisted the flag of Molkon DCC INC candidate Paotinlun Chongloi in the presence of various village chiefs, elders, Church, leaders and local CSOs leaders apart from more than 300 participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Haokholal Hangshing said the Congress is the oldest national party who led the people of India to independence in 1947 and continued to rule with transparency, good governance and secularism.
He continued that under the competent rule of the Congress, people have been enjoying maximum liberty in socio-political affairs and while safeguarding the people's rights constitutionally.
Many chiefs and prominent leaders of the areas also spoke on the occasion apart from candidates who called for sustainable peace and harmony and crystal clear development from grass root level.
A mass prayer was led by participating Church representative.
Meanwhile, a public meeting was graced by MLA Nemcha Kipgen as Chief Guest at Parsian Nepali Basti in connection with the poll campaign of INC candidate of Keithelmanbi DCC at Co-operative Hall, Parsain on Tuesday.
The public meeting was also attended ADC Sadar Hills sitting Chairman Haokholal Hangshing, Tujang DCC Congress candidate Lamkholen Kipgen, Gaon Bura, local Mahila welfare, chiefs and religion leaders.
Around 200 participants from various villages within Parsian area took part in the public meeting.
Speaking at the public meeting MLA Nemcha Kipgen said Indian National Congress is our independence's party who basically has familiarity with its people since independence and struggles for all round development.
Keithelmanbi INC Candidate Lamminthang Kipgen said that Congress is the only party concerning the development of the people.
