ZUF issues directive to developmental agencies

The 'government' of the armed outfit Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) on Saturday issued a directive to protect the lands, people and cultural heritage of the Zeliangrong people at any cost.
The directive also urged the developmental agencies both government and non-government, to implement developmental works of the people cohesively.
The directive issued by Izualakbe Nriangme, Regional Secretary of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), Makuilongdi Region Dilung/Ghq said that ZUF is concerned about the inefficiencies and disorders prevailing in Zeliangrong region covering Assam, Manipur and Nagaland causing immense hardships to the populace.
"It is for attention that any irregularity of concerned staff of their respective government or non-governmental institution should be improved instantly lest we shall look into it without compunction.
Government Department are failing so long to deliver the goods to the targeted people which we cannot be a silent spectator any more.
The village leaders should not be corrupted in handling developmental schemes and payment of man day wages under MGNREGS, Haliyali scheme and others.
ZUF will pull up those responsible for the misappropriation of the public fund positively", the directive stated.
Further, it stated that education institutions, health services, judiciary proceeding should safeguard human rights and protection of women against harassments/discrimination and departmental offices function smoothly.
