Imphal, February 18 2015:
The Joint Students' Coordination Committee (JSCC) of AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SUK and AIMS has expressed resentment at the conduct of the officials at some examination centres of the Higher Secondary Examination being conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) .
According to a statement of JSCC, the inspection teams of the students' bodies found many candidates at Lilong College copying in front of the invigilators during the examination on Wednesday.
The invigilators failed to take action against the candidates despite complaining by the JSCC team.
The inspection teams of JSCC were also not allowed to enter the examination centre at Waikhom Mani Girls' College by the OC, and the team was also detained by the AOC for more than 10 minutes at Pravabati College.
It further expressed suspicion that the examination officials of Waikhom Mani College and Pravabati College might be allowing the students to use unfair means during the examination, and urged the authorities concerned to take strict action against the erring officials.
