AMCTA begins stir

Imphal, February 18 2015:
All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) has begun work-cease strike from Wednesday demanding the State Government to take up welfare measures for the college teachers and uplift collegiate education in the state.
AMCTA, in a statement, said that the government college teachers have stopped taking classes from Wednesday and they are on cease-work strike following indifferent attitude of the State Government towards fulfilling their demands for the betterment of higher education in the state.
