NPF, Left and Secular bloc to announce their candidates today

Naga People's Front (NPF) is likely to announce the name of its candidate for Manipur Outer Parliamentary seat tomorrow.
From among the many applicants, the names of NPF Manipur State president Soso Lorho and its Working president Sword Vashum have been placed before the Working Committee of the party in Kohima.
A Nagaland Minister informed Newmai News Network said that the NPF Working Committee will have its sitting tomorrow in Kohima to decide its candidate from among the two for the Outer Manipur seat and then declare it immediately Soso Lorho hails from Senapati district and he was once a minister in the Manipur Government while Sword Vashum hails from Ukhrul district.
He is a former bureaucrat.
NPF is contesting in two Parliamentary constituencies in two states in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.
For the lone Nagaland Lok Sabha seat, NPF has fielded Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
It had decided not to field in Arunachal Pradesh but instead the party will support a regional party candidate.
Meanwhile, Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio is likely to campaign in all the hill districts of Manipur for the NPF, according to a reliable source from the party.
Six hill districts in Manipur come under the Outer Lok Sabha constituency.
On the other hand, ten Non-Congress and non-BJP political parties in Manipur, which have christened their alliance as Left and Secular Alliance will announce the name of its common candidate for the Manipur Outer seat tomorrow at 2 pm tomorrow, sources said today.
Dr M Nara of CPI has already been named as the common candidate of these ten non-Congress and non-BJP parties for the Inner Parliamentary constituency of Manipur.
The ten parties are CPI, CPI (M), JD (S), JD (U), Shiv Sena, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress, All India Forward Block (AIFB) and Peoples Democratic Alliance (PDA).
