Imphal, July 09 2009:
A public meeting held at the Oinam Girls High School while demanding review of government decision with regard to downgrade of the school, has urged to convert it into as a model school.
In the meeting presided former chairperson of the Oinam Nagar Panchayat, M Manglemba, talkers observed that in the school there has enough number of students with each class having around 45 students.
Instead of upgrading the school at junior level by adding more class, government is trying to down drade it.
Later, the meeting resolved to demand revision of government decision of dowgrading it and press to upgrade it.
