The Relationship Centre (RC) for the Bharati Airtel Limited, one of the most popular mobile phone service providers in the country was opened here today.
Chief Engineer of the state Power Department, N Sharat, Zonal Branch Manager, North East Zone, Bharati Airtel Limited, Th Brojendro and Director of Social Welfare Department were chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively at the opening ceremony.
Zonal Branch Manager, Th Brojendro, speaking as the president of the function, opined that the Relationship Centre opened today will deal with the complaints of the customers of the service provider.
Customers can lodge their complaints with the Airtel service to the Centre.
Two hotline numbers will be opened for customers' complaints, he added.
Airtel has around 2.48 lakh customers and its service cover 100 percent urban area of the state, but only 63 percent of rural areas.
The airtel customers form 32.35 percent of the mobile phone users of the state, he said.
