Bharat Nirman campaign in Tamenglong concludes

Tamenglong, May 19 2011:
A curtain comes down on the 3rd day of the Public Information campaign at Tamenglong Indoor Stadium organized by PIB Imphal with DP Panmei, Ex Minster and Principal of Christian Grammar School Tamenglong, Dr Gaithaorung Kamei, Chief Medical Officer Tamenglong and ID Akubou Retd ZEO as chief guest, guest of honour and president of the function respectively.
Speaking as chief guest speech, DP Panmei, Ex Minister question why people are so corrupted in the state particularly Tamenglong district inspite of the kindness of central government.
According to him there are many loopholes of the implementing agencies of the development funds.
The contractors are not sincere and dishonest as they are not maintaining quality and they are not properly implementing the development funds, he said.
He said many government officers are able to construct huge building where as poor people has no place to complaint.
He urged all young children to open their eyes to change and develop the region.
Bharat Nirman campaign give knowledge of the development funds release for the district people should find out defaulters and correct it so that full development can take place, he said.
In his speech as guest of honour, Dr Gaithaorung Kamei, CMO Tamenglong thanks all participants for attending till the end of the Public Information campaign.
If people are not aware of the development funds people will be lost, it is the hour to joint hands with various government department to change the district.
In his presidential speech I D Akubou, Retd ZEO believes that after attending the Public Information Campaign all the development funds may properly and successfully implemented in the district.
He also appeals to organize such Public Information campaign in the block level to digest the poor villages.
At the end of the campaign a certificates was given to all stalls and volunteers of NYK.
And Premlata Loitam, MCO PIB, Imphal thanks all resource persons and participants for grant success of the Public Information campaign and assured to organized more such campaign in the near future.
