SKABU holds fasting & prayer for Class XII appearing students

Senapati, February 04 2020: The Senapati-Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) held fasting & prayer programme for Class XII appearing students at Rikhumai Taphou Tungjoy Baptist Church.

The program was attended by many Pastors, members of Churches under SKABU, students, their parents and guardians and school representatives from Mt Everest Higher Secondary School, Bethany Higher Secondary School, Mt Pisgah, New Life, Mt Zion Senior Secondary School, Hills Academy of Science, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Senapati and Lao Radiant Higher Secondary School.

B Daniel, president, Christian Forum, Senapati district spoke on the theme, "Preparing to live to the fullest," while Rev RL Tennyson, Pastor, Khabung Karong Baptist Church talked on "Honesty, Integrity and Trust".

Rev P Ng Lohrii, Pastor, TNK, Senapati Baptist Church spoke on "Avoiding evil and honouring God," while K Niloni, Pastor, Mao Baptist Church, Emesiiphro spoke on "Ignite your faith to do the best".

Speaking on the occasion, Rev RL Tennyson encouraged the Class XII appearing students to prepare well for their examinations and said they should never use unfair means in the examination hall.

Students from New Life College, Mt Zion Senior Secondary School and Mt Pisgah College presented special songs during the programme.

Special prayer for all the students was also organised by the president of the SKABU, Rev K Daniel during the programme.

It is learned from reliable source that around 2,000 students from the district will be appearing Class XII examinations to be conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur and CBSE this year.
