HYBA's Open Badminton Tournament concludes at Ng Moulnom village

The open badminton tournament organised by Healthy Youth Badminton Association (HYBA) concluded on Monday at Ng Moulnom village in Moreh.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, YAS Minister, Letpao Haokip stressed on the importance of sports in guiding the youths towards a better future and away from drugs.
He also mentioned that the current Minister of Law and Justice of India, Kiren Rijiju during the All India Ministry Sports Conference reportedly agreed to his proposal to include sports in the education sector.
Letpao Haokip further announced that he would provide monetary assistance of Rs 5 lakh for the construction of an indoor stadium for badminton.
Border Trade Chamber of Commerce Moreh president, V Shekhar; former member Autonomous District Council Chandel, Cecilia Haokip and Vaiphei People Council Tengnoupal District president, Jamthang Baite also attended the closing ceremony.
Later, a badminton match was also played between HYBA and ABA.
