Lamka, August 12 2010:
Following the footsteps of the KLA and KRA, it is the KNF (S) now to join the KNO in an apparent attempt to serve the political will and aspirations of the Kuki people.
A statement signed by one Issac of the KNF (S) said the decision to join the KNO fold on Thursday, 4 August, 2010 was made after an in-depth analysis of the later's ideology.
The statement also calls on other Kuki revolutionary organization which does not as yet share the KNO political umbrella to join them in haste in the interest of forging Kuki unity and securing their future.
Meanwhile, the KNO in a separate statement denies that a clause exist in the SoO ground rules that any group, either under KNO or UPF to change from one umbrella organization to the other.
Rather than lauding the development in which Kuki unity was being forged, an undue apprehension and opposition was formally lodged at the JMG meeting by certain government official(s) was a grossly untrue reference to SoO ground rules by a government agency not only undermines GOI's noble programme for national integration.
The intentional misinterpretation only serves to prove that certain officials are more concern about keeping Kuki people divided in order to be able to rule over them said the statement issued by KNO's T Stephen, Under Secretary, Information and Publicity.
The KNO also recalls the former DGMI amongst other noble citizens of the country who have encouraged unity building of Kuki revolutionary groups.
