Imphal, August 12 2010:
KCP president Senggoi Meitei has conveyed warm greetings to all MFL/KCP cadres, cadres of fraternal revolutionary organisations as well as the people of Manipur on the 7th raising day of the outfit's army wing Miyamgi Fingang Lanmi (MFL) which falls on August 13 .
Disclosing that the outfit has procured a number of weapons besides building up a strong army of revolutionary cadres, Senggoi gave credit to the mass for the progress made so far.
Though the strength of MFL/KCP has been growing, the party has hardly succeeded in strengthening the liberation movement, Senggoi said.
The president exhorted his cadres to emulate the ideals of the Vietnam People's Army which is based on their General Vo Nguyen Gaip's principleRespect People, Help People, Protect People.
Going by documents and statements of different revolutionary groups, it can be assumed that Kangleipak cannot be independent alone because of the region's geo-political conditions and there is need for the revolutionary groups operating in the region to join hands and struggle for a sovereign country in the South East Himalayan region, Senggoi asserted.
Leaving aside the idea of a joint struggle by the revolutionary groups operating in the North East region, there is a sharp division between the hills and the valley.
Again, rather than forging unity or coming to a common platform, revolutionary groups of the valley have been only splitting successively.
Even as joint bodies have been set up, these bodies remained meaningless and non-functional as the constituent parties are more concentrated on strengthening their own groups.
This is one of the primary reason for the plunge of public faith in revolutionary groups.
The unfolding situation demands a 'situational leader' while setting up joint bodies who can lead the revolutionary movement in the forward direction, Senggoi said.
He noted that internal conflicts, political line, composition, leadership and size are some of the defining attributes for maturity of a revolutionary movement.
As such, the revolutionary movement can achieve success only when each group is determined to overcome all their internal limitations.
To overcome the internal limitations, it demands sincerity and the ability to identify their own weaknesses and correct accordingly.
The KCP president while appealing to all to remember all those who have laid down their lives in the course of the liberation movement, called upon all revolutionary cadres to show their worth with deeds.
