Imphal, June 02 2012:
Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) has contended that the announcement of the Government of India to cut Petrol price by Rs 2 per litre with effect from midnight of June 2 is not sufficient.
In a statement, Secretary of MSC/CPI Dr M Nara Singh pointed out that the price of cooking price (LPG) has already been increased by Rs 1.40 per cylinder.
At this juncture, reducing the price of petrol by Rs 2 per litre is a mockery because the price of crude oil in the International market is going down these days.
Therefore, people would continue to raise their voice for complete rollback of the petrol price.
