ADC Chandel members reach out to people

Reaching out to the people who have elected them as their representatives, Chairman of Autonomous District Council (ADC), Chandel Lhukhosei Zou along with other ADC members conducted an extensive tour of the constituency to take stock of the various developmental works being taken up and understand the grievances of the people.
During the tour which was conducted from morning till evening yesterday, the team inspected the newly constructed Urupat Village Court as well as the existing condition of the Primary schools and Veterinary office.
The team also listened to the complaints raised over denial of text books under SSA which are supposed to be made available free of cost to students.
Other developmental works and projects, which are on pipeline or are underway Khambathel, Kholin, Sugnu Jo Veng and Lampi khunou, etc were covered during the inspection.
The Chairman and his team also visited to get a firsthand account on the progress of the developmental works at Marem village, Beula village, Dongja village, Leingangching village and Purum Pantha village, etc apart from inspecting the existing condition of Nungpal Government Primary School and Nungpal Community Hall.
Speaking to mediapersons on the sideline of the inspection tour, Lhukhosei Zou observed that in the past ADC members never bother to go for inspection.
But he and other ADC members have taken up the onus of redressing the grievances of the people through extensive tour of the constituency.
Our Moreh Correspondent adds: While addressing a meeting at the office of Moreh Youth Club (MYC), Chairman of ADC Chandel Lhukhosei Zou expressed happiness over the manner of executing the work on erecting fencing around Moreh Galngam Lenton ground with funding from BADP.
