UCM appeals not to believe rumours

Imphal, July 06 2011:
Reacting to rumours of a non existed organisation called Naga Crusador who served quit notice to Meetei people in the hill areas which was published in Nagaland Post, Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, president of United Committee Manipur today appealed to the people of the state not to fall prey of such rumours which might spark communal clashes between the hill people and the valley people.
Speaking in a press release, Dilipkumar said that based on rumours of the quit notice served by the unknown organisation and the so called pamphlets distributed by some miscreants at North AOC, UCM had submitted a memorandum to the state Chief Minister.
UCM also submitted an ultimatum to CM to look into the matter and take up necessary action.
In the ultimatum submitted to the state CM UCM pressed the state government to inform Ministry of Home Affairs about the matter and give a clear stand on the matter to the people of the state on or before July 8.Dilipkumar later appealed to the people of different communities of the state to leave in peace with full cooperation and not to believe in such rumours.
