Quarantine babies: Two new born babies named 'Covina' and 'Covida'

The frontline health workers have made everyone smile again after successfully delivering two healthy babies at different quarantine centres in Kangpokpi district, on different date and occasion.
Born one month after the first quarantine baby Emmanuel Quarantino, the new born female baby was named Covina and the male baby was named Covida by the SDO concerned and the medical team respectively.
Gurgoan returnee couple, Seigin alias Gin Hangshing and Nengminhoi Hangshing gave birth to their first born baby girl on July 1 at the IQC where they are accommodated.
The baby girl was delivered by a team of PHC Motbung led by Dr Imocha and Dr Kennedy and others, under the supervision of Dr Nilakanta Singh, CMO Kangpokpi and Dr Paotinlal Haokip, in-charge Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Kangpokpi.
The baby weighed 2.8 kgs and is healthy while her mother reportedly have no immediate maternal complication or PPH.
Later, they were shifted to MTC IQC where she got the name 'Covina' from the IQCs in-charge Chunglenmang Kipgen.
Meanwhile, two days later on July 3, a medical team lead by Dr Nengpilhing, MO in-charge of PHC Kalapahar delivered a healthy baby boy at Tumnoupokpi Home Quarantine under the supervision of Dr Nilakanta Singh Dr Paotinlal Haokip.
After the successful delivery of the baby boy, Dr Nengpilhing and her husband Ngamminlen along with the medical team named the baby 'Covida' who weighed 4 kgs.
The child's mother Jasmine is a Bangalore returnee.
The baby boy and his mother are both healthy.
Chunglenmang Kipgen, MCS and his team also visited the baby boy and the mother.
