Imphal, March 10 2022:
Minister Th Satyabrata, who retained his Yaiskul seat, has said that he got re-elected due to people's blessing and promised to give special emphasis on improving economy of the people living in the constituency.
He also assured to impart suitable training to youth and provide marketing support to them when they become entrepreneur.
Elated over getting elected again, Keirao MLA M Rameshwar also promised to give special emphasis on improving economy of people of the constituency and said that BJP government will be more stable this time and action oriented.
Elected for the first time, Thangjam Arun kumar of JDU said that he will try to make Wangkhei one of the leading constituencies of the state by filling up developmental lacunae in consultation with the people.
He also vowed to give special emphasis on ending drug issue and unemployment problem and work for women's welfare.
Khurai MLA L Susindro told media persons while coming to collect election certificate that he will focus on education sector and provide I-pad as announced earlier to needy students to make Khurai a leading constituency in education sector.
He also promised to focus more on improving economy of women in the constituency.
Elated over getting elected again though disqualified in the previous term, Th Shyamkumar of Andro AC said he will give special emphasis on improving education sector and make efforts to export indigenously produced liquor apart from improving agriculture sector.
Meanwhile, Sapam Kunjakishore of Patsoi AC told media persons that he will transform Pat soi to a smart city within two years and would not disappoint people of the constituency.
Yumnam Khemchand of Singjamei AC said that he will not hesitate from performing his best when central leaders allot him ministerial berth.
K Robindro of Mayang Imphal said that he emerged victorious due to hard work of the people and would not disappoint them while Heikham Dingo of Sekmai said he could retain the seat due to the love of the people and promised to convert into action people's aspirations.
On the other hand, Dr Usham Deben of Wabagai told media persons that he will give special emphasis on bringing welfare and improving economy of farmers, fishermen and youth.
He also promised to black-top all roads in the constituency within five/six months.
Victorious Mayanglangbam Rameshwar of Kakching said that the result of the election has proved that truth always triumph and promised to improve basic infrastructures in Kakching like safe drinking water, improved power supply, road and communication and health care system.
Meanwhile, Dr Yumnam Radheshyam of Hiyanglam promised to complete pending projects.
He also said that Hiyanglam AC is around 60km wide and bigger than greater Imphal area and hence could not complete development work in time.
Elected over being elected as the representative of Sugnu AC for the sixth consecutive term, Kangujam Ranjit told media persons that his fight in 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election was not solely against M Binod of BJP but also against CM Biren, ministers, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda and other BJP leaders.
These leaders worked very hard to defeat him but could not do so as people of Sugnu trust him due to his sincere work and performance in the past many terms, he added.
