Ukhrul, June 03 2022:
National Child Development Council (NCDC), an organisation for child welfare based in New Delhi, has launched a free online Paperless English Training (PET) and Teacher Training in Child Education to conduct its session in Ukhrul district.
Speaking to media persons, Yaomichon Ragui, NCDC faculty-cum-admission coordinator, expressed that PET is specially designed for high school and college students who struggle to speak English despite having studied English for many years.
She stated that in addition to spoken English training, instruction on general knowledge and computer skills will be given to trainees, along with daily lessons and activities which will be shared directly with the learners via WhatsApp and live classes every Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
"The training module progressively teaches trainees to speak English through games and riddles without requiring them to understand grammar", she added.
Yaomichon Ragui further mentioned that NCDC is launching another new online batch of teacher training courses in child education designed only for women while adding that students from Class X to degree level are eligible for the training.
