Senapati lad to receive Nagaland Governor's award

Senapati, June 03 2022:
A student from Lakhamai village in Senapati district will receive the Nagaland Governor's award for securing the 3rd position from among the government higher secondary schools in Nagaland in the recently declared class 12 examination conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education.
The student named Veitho Sha (19) is son of late Kh Philip Sha of Lakhamai village, Senapati and he secured 465 marks out of the total of 500 and scored 92.8 percent.
He is a student of Riizhiikhrie Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
Veitho Sha is the youngest of three siblings.
His father passed away when he was 8 years old and is being looked after by his mother, a housewife.
Being raised by a single parent without any source of income, he used to help his mother in the paddy field and earn money for his studies during holidays.
Veitho Sha passed class X examination from Christ King Higher Secondary School, Kohima and scored 87 percent with 100 marks in both social science and environmental education.
