A corporate sponsorship program "Dream Big" would be launched by the Ascend Orb Academy for the minorities to assist them in procuring jobs or pursuing self-employment.
The 3-month job oriented vocational training for minority students of Manipur would provide training for sixty students, twenty each on information technology, retail management and banking and finance, etc, said a statement.
Trainees for information technology and retail management would be required to have completed their higher secondary school education while those opting to pursue Banking and Finance should be a graduate (B.Com, Economics/ BBA/ BBM/ M.Com/ MA, Economics).
Students of the program would be provided with the option of choosing Guwahati or Imphal for their training centre.
Interested candidates have been notified to obtain the form from the office from June 29 to July 6 during office hours or directly access it from the academy's website, with July 12 being the last date of registration and submission of the forms.
Candidates would be awarded with certificates by the academy on successful completion of the course, it added.
