Two new cases with 6.7 pc TPR recorded

Imphal, November 21 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 10 on Monday, as government bulletins reported one recovery and two new cases from out of 30 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 6.7 per cent.
The two fresh cases are male residents of Churachandpur and Kamjong districts.
Out of the 10 active cases, four are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,911 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 148 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,203, out of which 13,35,770 had received the second dose and 2,77,686 had taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49844), Imphal East (32065), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3371), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058) and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5) and Pherzawl (0) .
