Imphal experiencing warmer November this year

Imphal, November 21 2022:
Compared to previous year (2021), Imphal is experiencing warmer November this year (2022) with the month's maximum temperature recorded at 1-3 degree Celsius higher this year compared to November, 2021.As per data available from Gramin Krishi Mausam Sewa of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research Complex, Lamphelpat, the maximum temperature recorded in Imphal on November 1, 2021 was 28.1 degree Celsius and the minimum 16.5 degree Celsius.
However, the maximum temperature recorded in Imphal on November 1, this was 29.8 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature on the same day was 14.6 degree Celsius.
On the other hand, the maximum temperature recorded in Imphal on Monday (November 21) was 28.7 degree Celsius and the minimum 11.8 degree Celsius.
The maximum temperature recorded on November 21, 2021 was 25.5 degree Celsius and hence Imphal is getting warmer by around 3 degree Celsius this year compared to November 21 the previous year (2021).The maximum temperature recorded in the entire November month of the year 2021 was 28.9 degree Celsius whereas the maximum temperature in November this year was 29.8 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded so far this year was 8.6 degree Celsius on November 19.People of the state had already experienced climate change in the past two/three years compared to the past 10 years or so.
Climate change is a global phenomenon and the main causes of climate change are deforestation, establishment of industries, burning of fossil fuels and carbon emission from ever increasing number of vehicles across the globe.
Apart from this, filling up of lakes and ponds with earth for construction of structures and buildings also abet climate change.
Meanwhile, experts have pointed out that there will be no reduction of temperature if the present rate of climate change continues for the next few years.
