PTCC beat PTRC by 96 runs in U-19 Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, November 21 2022: PTCC beat PTRC by 96 runs in an all-Patsoi clash of the 1st MNCA Women's U-19 One Day Trophy at PTRC ground today.

Put in to bat first PTCC racked up 226 runs for 9 in 35 overs and restricted PTRC to 130 for 9 for the big win.

For PTCC, Thoudam Mangalsana topscored with 36 runs followed by Laishram Bigyapati (28), Kiran Laishram (27), Lourembam Prena (18) and Bandana (14) .

Sayatombi Devi Konsam of PTRC bagged three wickets in this innings as Kiranbala Palujam and Alina Devi Laitonjam picked up two wickets each and Tolika Laitonjam and Langlenthoi managed a wicket each.

PTRC had torrid time in the chase with PTCC bowlers maintaining a fine economy besides taking wickets in regular intervals.

Sayatombi Devi Konsam scored the highest 37 runs and Linthoingam Chanu Laishram added 24 runs as Angoubi and Lourembam Prena of PTCC shared two wickets each.

Bandana, Thoudam Mangalsana and Sanaloo were also able to clinch a wicket each to help PTCC restrict PTRC to a meagre total.

Lourembam Prena who added 18 runs off 21 balls and picked up two wickets was adjudged woman of the match.

THAU will play FORCE in the next match tomorrow.
