MSF kicks off anti-drug poster campaign

As part of its 'Eikhoi Mayai Kaba Drug Thadoklashi' campaign, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) in association with school van service providers launched a poster campaign from St Anthony School, Chingmeirong-Heingang Road on Monday.
In this regard, MSF Drug Affairs secretary Prem Ningombam recounted that the Federation launched its drug use prevention campaign, titled 'Eikhoi Mayai Kaba Drug on October 13, 2020 .
As part of this campaign, a poster campaign was kicked off in collaboration with All Manipur School Students Transporters' Association (AMSSTA) on Monday.
Appealing to the students, teachers and the people of the state to extend support to the poster campaign, Prem urged school transport service providers to stick the posters on their respective vehicles.
He also urged teachers to put up the posters on the notice boards and classrooms of their respective institutions, while explaining the importance of the same to the students.
The secretary then appealed to the media to help spread the message of the campaign across the state, while further urging CSOs, local clubs, Meira Paibi groups and others to extend support to the campaign and help in ensuring a healthy, drug-free Manipur.
The inauguration of the campaign was also attended by MSF Head Office publicity secretary K Abhijit, AMSSTA president Maibam Kennedy, students of St Anthony School and members of transporter unions.
