Imphal Literature fest from Nov 25

Imphal, November 21 2022:
As a part of Manipur Sangai festival, 2022, Sahitya Thoupang Lup (SATHOULUP) and the state government will jointly organise Imphal Literature Festival from November 25 to 27 at different locations with the participation of numerous authors of international repute.
In a release, SATHOULUP secretary Mayanglambam Uttamkumar informed that the literature festival will be inaugurated at IN Manipur Dance Academy auditorium and will continue at Marjing Polo complex and Mandha Island, Loktak.
Many renowned authors from abroad namely Ayathurai Santhan of Sri Lanja, Bangla Academy Bangladesh deputy director Md Sahadat Hossain, renowned poet Md Sajal Ahmed and Sonaton Hamom, Sebolelo Victoria Mokhele of Kingdom of Lesotho along with Ranjita Sarkar of Assam, Maisnam Bhagat, Abdul Hamid, Bi-rendra Singh Thangjam, Gopal Singha of Assam, and Misna Chanu of Delhi would attend the festival.
An international Anthology of English poetry titled 'Voices Now World Poetry Today' edited by Braja K Sarkar and Binay Laha, a book of essays penned by Gurumayum Binamad hav Sharma titled 'Leigi Pareng' and N Ranjit's book of poetry named 'Mangai Gi Lambi' will also be published as a part of the festival, he continued, while adding that Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Meghalaya, Phunga Heritage Shillong and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) North East will also support the festival.
