Elect an eligible people's representative, says O Malesh

People should elect an eligible representative who will strive for development and to bring a change rather than falling prey to the false promises of persons with vested interests.
The above statement was made by O Malesh, State Executive Member of BJP while speaking in a Booth Level Committee meeting of five polling stations held at Haobam Marak Irom Leikai in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Assembly Constituency today.
He continued that people elect their representative for a term of 5 years to work for the well being of the people and not to boast around and resign from their post whenever one desires.
The elected representatives have a big responsibility to strive for the welfare of its people sincerely and with dedication and not to work for personal benefits and some monetary gains without thinking about the sentiments of the people, he added.
He opined that the people should choose their representatives wisely and exercise their Constitutional rights instead of just thinking for some mere amount of money.
O Malesh further stated that with an aim to bring a change in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC and to serve its people selflessly, he has come out to contest in the upcoming State Assembly election.
Today's meeting was also attended by Adhakshya of Imphal West Zilla Parishad, RK Taruni, Adhakshya of Imphal East Zilla Parishad, P Bimola, State Secretary of BJP, K Radhakishore, President of BJP Imphal West district, Ph Phoni Meitei and president of BJP Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Mandal, L Indrajit.
