Eco-blockade called off

The Contract Basis Teachers Association 2011, ADC Senapati has decided to call off its indefinite economic blockade from September 6 midnight after due consultation with the parents and guardians on Oct 5 .
However it warned that the agitation will resume jointly if the State Government continues to neglect its demand.
Despite the decision to call off the blockade, the association in a statement said that it is unhappy over the indifferent attitude of the transport association during the blockade and warned of severe action in future.
The association has extended its gratitude to all the district's apex social organisations including NPO, SDSA, SDWA for extending support to the stir and expressing and concern towards the cause of the association.
The support of the public during the blockade has also been acknowledged and the association expressed regret over the inconveniences caused by the blockade.
The association also expressed its gratitude to the media.
All the parents and guardians association have also been informed that there will be an emergency meeting to discuss future course of action on October 10 at 11 am at TNK village hall.
