Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal celebrates 54th foundation day

The 54th foundation day celebration of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal was held today at the Court Hall of Dhanamanjuri College of Commerce.
The celebration was organized by the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal Manipur Prant in collaboration with DM College of Commerce, Dhanamanjuri University.
Speaking as the chief guest, Professor N Rajmuhon Singh, Vice-Chancellor, DM University stated that a successful implementation of National Education Policy 2020 across the country will produce quality students and lead to an increase in dissemination of skill development knowledge.
Addressing the gathering, Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal Manipur Prant president Professor Dr Meinam Binota stated that during her 30-year career as a teacher, she has come across numerous students who completed BA, MA, PhD etc but remain unemployed.

She attributed this situation to the curriculum these students were taught and pointed out that they did not receive a job-oriented education.
She emphasized on the need for teachers to work hard in their career with the utmost dedication and for students to have the necessary knowledge and tools to be self-employed.
The Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal will also contribute to the Government's effort to implement NEP 2020 by 2025 .
The Mandal has formed a board consisting of 15 academicians who have come up with a 7 point program and a working framework with regards to the NEP 2020, she maintained.
She urged teachers to work with a spirit of sacrifice in order to realize the NEP 2020's objective of making students self-reliant.
The function was also attended by Dr A Nabachandra Singh, Principal, DM College of Commerce; Dr M Priyobrata, Principal, Imphal College; Professor Th Ibohal, Manipur Institute of Management Studies (MIMS), Manipur University and Th Rajen Singh, Seva Bharati.
