LSTB shares joy, woe with Bangladeshi Meeteis

Imphal, March 30 2023:
A 12-member team of Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB), who will be laying the foundation stone for a Sanamahi Shanglen and ground at Kunagaon in Bangladesh, interacted and exchanged gifts with the Manipuri diaspora settled in Bangladesh after their arrival in the country on Wednesday.
Speaking on the sidelines, LSTB member secretary Maisnam Shi-vdutta Luwang expressed his elation on meeting the Meetei diaspora in Bangladesh and the warm welcome accorded to the team members by the latter.
He then appealed to the Manipuri diaspora in Bangladesh to support all activities taken up by the Board.
LSTB also extended monetary assistance to Salairel Punshipham Lainingthou Sanamahi Shanglen, which has been guarding the Sanamahi shrine in Bangladesh.
Later, the gathering condoled the demise of former Tangkhul minister RV Mingthing.
Mention may be made here that the LSTB team, was flagged off for Bangladesh by its vice president Bidyapati Senjam on March 26 to attend the foundation laying ceremony of a Sanamahi Shanglen and ground at Kunagaon in Bangladesh on April 2 .
