"Demarcate surveyed land of Bishnupur, install boundary pillars"

Bishnupur, September 11 2022:
A public meeting held at Bishnupur Yangoi Ningthou Leima Shanglen today resolved to urge the State Government to demarcate the surveyed land of Bishnupur district and install boundary pillars at the earliest.
The meeting took the resolution to prevent any form of untoward incidents regarding land with neighbouring villages like Chiru of Kangpokpi district and Ngariyan Kabui & Chaiba Kabui of Churachandpur district.
It was also decided that in case of any illegal encroachment of land after the completion of land demarcation, the people of Bishnupur district would request the Government to evict the encroachers.
The meeting also resolved to submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister and a copy to YAS & Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam requesting him to ensure the demarcation is carried out at the earliest.
The meeting also resolved to launch a series of agitation if the Government failed to fulfil the demands before September 25, 2022 .
The meeting further resolved to constitute a joint committee to facilitate communication between the State Government and the people.
Ex-Revenue & Excise Minister, Kh Pulinkanta Singh; K Bheirop Sharma, Jatra Sing Chothe, O Tomba, H Komol and Kh Manihar attended the meeting as presidium members.
