Nemcha Kipgen gets emotional on Advent Christmas celebration in Kpi

Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency MLA, Nemcha Kipgen was seen visibly emotional after seeing the love and care of Kangpokpi widows who joyously danced and prayed for her during its Advent Christmas celebration at Kangpokpi town.
Kangpokpi mothers, mostly widows who unceasingly prayed together at Shalom Healing and Prayer Center in Khupting Veng, Ward No 11 Kangpokpi throughout the year, organized a simple Advent Christmas at their prayer center on Thursday.
The widows and founder of the center also presented a gift to the local MLA as a mark of gratitude and appreciation for her concern and love towards the mothers of Kangpokpi and the center in particular.
Speaking on the occasion, Nemcha Kipgen stated that the prayers of Kangpokpi mothers and widows at the center had contributed a lot towards the attainment of district hood, peace, and harmony in Kangpokpi.
She mentioned that God always hears the prayer of the widows and believed that despite a few precious lives lost during the first and second wave, many lives of the districts have been saved by God.
Nemcha exhorted the mothers and widows of Kangpokpi with the life of Dr DGS Dhinakaran and urged them to continue believing in prayer.
"As the Bible says, a wicked person earns deceptive wages, and whoever sows injustice will reap calamity and my experience shows that those who plant trouble and cultivate evil will harvest the same", she asserted.
While appealing to the mothers and widows of Kangpokpi to continue praying for the land, the Nemcha said, "we could live and survive in our land because of our forefather's vision and it is now our responsibility to protect and preserve it" .
The MLA also presented shawls to the mothers and widows of Kangpokpi town as Christmas gift.
It may be mentioned that mothers of Kangpokpi AC mostly widows from Kangpokpi DHQs unceasingly offered fasting prayer at Shalom Prayer and Healing Centre established by Rev Thangsat Kipgen and his wife, Chinneilhing for peace and harmony; welfare of orphan children, drug users/addict; wellbeing of the local MLA, MDCs, District Administration, police, CSOs leaders, etc and development of the district as well.
