Maram Union election dispute resolved

The misunderstandings in regard to the Maram Union Election 2021 for the tenure 2021-2024 have been amicably resolved following a consultative cum reconciliation meeting held on December 1 at Maram Union Secretariat, Tahamzam.
A statement issued by interim speaker, A John and secretary T Abraham stated that the Maram Union convened the ice-breaking meeting to solve the ongoing row.
"After a marathon deliberations and addressing the various issues pertaining to the Union election 2021 and subsequent unpleasant development particularly 'Null and Void' statement moved by the 21 villages against the Union election procedures, the members present with much contemplation and comprehensive observation unanimously resolved and nullified the Null and Void decision.
Hence, from this day, the new executive team for the tenure 2021-2024 will lead the team with vigor and promise", it said.
The house also unanimously resolved all differences to uphold, maintain and strengthen the spirit of forgiveness and to work hand-in-hand for the welfare of all.
