TSA condemns

The Thadou Students' Association, General Headquarters strongly condemned the act of Chaoba Lukho, IPS CO 7th IRB in the incident where his vehicle heading to Imphal knocked down and damaged the Alto car bearing Regd No ML05F-2825 on the way between Khomhampat and Koirengei on June 16, 2014 at 11.30 am.
Not only the car but also injured 6 individuals who were the family members of the Alto's owner, Lunkhojang alias Hejang Haokip., according to the Association's statement.
Despite the damage and injuries caused by Chaoba Lukho, TSA stated that the CO concerned did not initiate to help the injured people.
The TSA volunteers took the injured member to the Raj Polyclinic in North AOC for immediate tests and due to non-availability of seats, all the injured members were admitted to Christian Hospital in Dewlahland.
Till date, Chaoba Lukho has not extended any assistance.
An FIR was also registered by Sekmai Police Station.
However, it yielded no positive result, the statement added.
The TSA urged the authority concerned to intervene and provide immediate resolution and assistance before June 27, 2014 .
In failing to response, the Association will impose 24 hours State bandh, especially on Dimapur-Moreh National Highway and Churachandpur-Imphal State Highway from 3am of June 28, 2014, the TSA warned.
