Imphal, October 12 2014:
United Revolutionary Front (URF) has said that it has no more faith in the policies of the State and Central Governments.
In a statement, URF chairman Lanheiba Meitei cautioned that anybody, who surrenders before the Government using the names of URF and its armed wing Manipur Army (MA), would be awarded capital punishment without any warning.
As such, Lanheiba asked respective families to give necessary advice to their children in this regard.
Saying that surrendering before the enemy is not an instinct of the people of Manipur, Lanheiba cautioned those 'agents', who have been roaming pillar to post in search of retired cadres, to immediately stop it if they want their well being.
Announcing that URF would launch 'valley operation' soon, Lanheiba also conveyed the outfit's honour and respect to those who have extended help in this regard.
Giving a stern warning to those 'vested interest' individuals, who are trying to tarnish the image of the outfit, to immediately stop, Lanheiba said that the outfit would not entertain any complaint from their families if the outfit is compelled to take action against them.
In case the Central Government does not want to see such bloodsheds, all the arms and ammunition deposited to the Government must be returned to the outfit at the earliest.
Cautioning the Government not to hold stage-managed dialogues with URF by gathering a handful of 'vested interest' individuals, Lanheiba Meitei said that the outfit would target every member of Congress party if the State Government continues to do so.
He said that Loyangamba Meitei would be the army commander of valley operation while Lankhomba Meitei would hold the post of the assistant chief central finance.
Saying that outfit's anti corruption cell would mainly target those people who have siphoned off public money in connivance with the Government, Lanheiba requested the public to extend support and cooperation to their new endeavours.
