Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, October 12 2014:
All the vehicles, escorted from Imphal by a CRPF convoy, were stranded at Mao gate due to NH blockade, imposed after two persons were mowed down to death by a truck carrying FCI goods at Jakhama in Nagaland.
Ever since the incident occured in the wee hours of October 10, people of Jakhama have been blocking all the vehicles coming from Imphal.
All the oil tankers, LPG bullets and trucks, which left Imphal on October 11 morning with a convoy of CRPF returned to Mao gate after the vehicles were not allowed to pass Jakhama due to the blockade.
