Pharmacy Association to provide discount to scribes

JN Hospital Pharmacy Association has decided to provide 15 per cent discount to identity card holders of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union and veteran journalists.
Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club, AMWJU President Wangkhemcha Shyamjai conveyed that the chemists' association had informed to the union that they would provide a discount of 15 per cent in the medical treatment of journalists who hold identity card of AMWJU and veteran journalists.
JN Hospital Pharmacy Association General Secretary M Jhalajit urged concerned journalists to inform the association if they are injured in any accident.
Saying that there are around 70 chemist shops near JNIMS Hospital, Jhalajit said that the association has been conducting social service camps from time to time.
With regard to the assault case of IFP Reporter Aheibam Dhananjoy alias Chaoba, Shyamjai said that speedy action was taken up against harassment of scribes for the first time.
