15 pc rebate for AMWJU members on medicines

The JN Hospital Pharmacists' Association has announced 15 percent discount on purchase of medicines by any bonafide members of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) and other veteran journalists in the State from its affiliated chemist shops with effect from today.
Addressing a press conference in this connection at Manipur Press Club here today, General Secretary of the Association N Jhalajit said that since its inception, the Association has also been serving people through conducting blood donation camps and social services with the co-operation of the authority of JNIMS, and this is the least that the Association that could do to help the journalists of the State who are in the service of the people against all odds.

Jhalajit informed that there at present 70 chemist shops running under the Association at JNIMS complex and AMWJU members can get 15 percent discount on buying medicines from any of these these shops.
President of AMWJU Wangkhemcha Shyamjai, who was also present during the press conference, expressed gratitude to the Association for offering such discount on purchase of medicines by journalists of the state.
He also pointed out that Raj Poly Clinic, Shija Hospitals, Sky Hospital, Babina Diagnostics and Mother and Child Care Centre have already offered reductions to medical and other expenses of AMWJU members.
The JN Hospital Pharmacists' Association also donated a water filter to AMWJU during the press conference, which as also attended by Vice President of AMWJU Ratan Luwangcha, General Secretary G Naocha, and Vice President of JN Hospital Pharmacy Association S Momo and Joint Secretary Tolpishak Thokchom.
