Imphal, February 09 2016:
Although advancement in different fields like development of e-library facility has been made, writers and books still hold that much importance as they did before.
This was stated by Dy CM Gaikhangam while addressing the books release function organised by Hill People Literary Union, Manipur (HPLUM) today at Manipur Press Club.
The Dy CM said that writing is not an easy job everybody can profess.
Posterity will be in the dark about the history if there is no writers.

However, it is very unfortunate that there is divergence in any endeavours, he said.
