SST ministry-sponsored science fair commences

Thoubal, April 05 2023: A two-day science exhibition organised by Centre for Rural Empowerment and Development Organisation (CREDO) under the sponsorship of NCSTC Division, Ministry of science and technology commenced from Wednesday at MMRC Unity Park, Khangabok.

The exhibition aims to impart science education and ensure scientific application among the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students of Thoubal and Ukhrul districts.

The inaugural function of the exhibition was attended by DM University vice chancellor Prof N Rajmuhon and KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok founder and chairman Kh Menjor Mangang as chief guest and president respectively while National Institute of Technology, Manipur registrar Prof Kh Tomba and Lilong Haoreibi College principal Dr Rahei-juddin Sheikh were present as guests of honour.

The exhibition has a total of 10 stalls exhibiting scientific models on robotics, artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

A quiz and painting competition for students was also organised on the inaugural day of the exhibition.

The second day will have interactive sessions between students and scientists and engineers of NIT, Manipur.
