Consultation prog held

Imphal, March 15 2019: Bishnupur Police in collaboration with Prosecution Branch and Forensic Science Laboratory, Pangei organised a consultation programme on case investigation for district police at Panchayat Resource Centre, Mini Secretariat Bishnupur district, today.

The programme was attended by Additional Public Prosecutors of District and Session Court Bishnupur; Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bishnupur; JMIC Bishnupur; Chief Judicial Magistrate Churachandpur and JMIC Churachandpur.

On behalf of Forensic Science Laboratory, Rk Gayatri, Scientific Assistant (BIO), L Zelina Chanu, Scientific (Chem) and L Kennedy (Ballistic) spoke on the topics "POCSO", "NDPS" and "Fire Arms" respectively.

Additional SP Prosecution, Sanghamita and several police officers of Bishnupur district also attended the programme.

Secretary; Seikhomang Khongsai, Speaker; Lhunkholal Kipgen, Secy Custom & Culture and Hemang Haokip, VP, KSO-GHQ called on Haokholet Kipgen this morning at his Hengbung residence and appreciated the achievement of FEEDS Group of Institution in opening the three Colleges.

Kuki Inpi Manipur also wrapped a traditional shawl 'Saipikhup' over the shoulder of FGI president Haokholet as mark of appreciation and happiness for his achievement while terming the achievement as 'The Pride of Manipur" .

Khaimang Chongloi, president Kuki Inpi Manipur while lauding Haokholet Kipgen and his team said that Kuki Inpi Manipur on behalf of the Kuki people expressed satisfaction and happiness upon the FEEDS Group of Institution for the visionary efforts in setting up the three Colleges.

"It's an asset and pride of the State", said KIM president before adding that aspiring students from all communities from the State can now avail technical and professional hands on experience in the field of Horticulture, Community Science and Biotechnology with up-to-date technology and laboratories without going far off places.

KIM president Khaimang Chongloi also said that the selfless efforts of FEEDS Group of Institution headed by Haokholet Kipgen is great and priceless and it deserves compliment from all quarters as it will not only serve as a platform in learning technical and professional education for the people of Manipur but also to its neighbouring States and countries as well.

He further said that the Government of Manipur must also acknowledge the achievement of FEEDS Group of Institution for bringing positive contributions to the society, the State, the nation as well as other countries and should promote and assist the FEEDS Group of Institution in its endeavours to bring advancement in the field of technical and professional education among the students of the States.

FEEDS Group of Institution President, Haokholet Kipgen expressed his sincere happiness upon the Kuki Inpi Manipur and KSO-GHQ for their visit and motivation and appreciated members of FEEDS Group of Institution including his wife, children, friends, near and dear ones for all their efforts in setting up of the Colleges.

He also extended special thanks to the authority of Manipur University and its Administrator for approving its affiliation and stated that without their support and assistance the achievement would not have been possible.

Earlier, Kuki Inpi Kangpokpi District and Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills had also visited the Colleges and met the president of FGI and lauded his achievement.
