Veteran TT player wins medals in single and double events

Imphal, November 30 2023:
Veteran table tennis player Soram Joychandra shone as he won a silver and a bronze in the First Commonwealth Masters Table Tennis Championship 2023 at Hyderabad.
Soram Joychandra Singh of Manipur representing India was awarded Vice Champion (Silver medal) in men's single 60+ category.

He lost the final match in a close fight against Sunil Babras of India (Maharshtra), said Manipur Veterans Table Tennis Association in a statement.
Soram Joychandra Singh and his partner Ravi Shanker of Chandigarh won bronze in men's double event of 60+ category.
Notably, Soram Joychandra Singh is 2009 National Veteran Champion (men's 40+ category) .
