Kshetri Tama leaves for COP 28 event

Imphal, November 30 2023:
Asian People Movement Debt on Development (APMDD) council member Kshetri Tama has left for the United Arab Emirates to participate in the COP 28 Conference of Climate Change to be held from November 30 to December 12 in Dubai.
The conference, which will be participated by representatives from over 200 countries, will have discussions on different topics including "Bringing nature positive cities to the forefront of urban climate change", "Global cooling pledge: Environment and climate sustainability" and " Human Rights to a healthy environment" .
The event will be held around four cross-cutting themes aimed at tackling the causes of climate change and managing the impacts of a warming planet.
It will focus on practical steps global leaders can take, best practice sharing, opportunities to partner within and across sectors, and innovations that can accelerate our trajectory toward net zero.
