N Rajningthou Memorial Trophy : Biyon stars as Model Club crush Al-Ameen by 7 wickets for fourth victory; YWC-L, YUCC, SHADOW too triumph

Biyon starred with both the bat and ball to earn Model Club a comprehensive 7 wicket win over Al-Ameen in the ongoing 4th MNCA Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy for the fourth Group A win in 7 matches.
Al-Ameen won the toss and elected to bat first but were bundled out for just 94 runs within 18.1 overs as Biyon ripped apart their batting order with an impressive bowling performance to return with the best figures of 5/28 in 6 overs that include a maiden.
Bisal (2/16), Chiran (2/8) also added teeth to the Model Club bowling to hold Al-Ameen to a paltry total despite Rashid adding 38 off 35 balls.

In reply, Biyon blazed off an unbeaten 29-ball 60 finding fence at will to steer Model to winning 100 for 3 wickets in just 12.3 overs.
Al-Ameen's Hamif and Rashid chipped in with a wicket apiece in a lost cause.
Biyon rightfully claimed the man of the match accolade.
In another Group A match, YWC-L sealed their third victory in 7 matches with a 51-run victory over PTCC-Patsoi at Model Hr Secondary School and Oriental College ground.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, YWC were bowled out for 123 runs in 32.2 overs but rode on Y Achouba (4/14) and Ziad Khan (3/15) to hold PTCC at 72 in 25.2 overs.
Y Achouba earlier added 43 runs for YWC and eventually sealed the man of the match accolade.
For PTCC, L Anao (3/14) and Somobanta (4/16) starred with the bowl but the team failed in the chase despite Anao's 21 .
In a Group B encounter at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, YUCC earned their fourth win in 7th matches with a 152-run crushing of SCCC.
YUCC racked up 242/5 in allotted 35 overs riding on significant knocks from Bidyashwor 42, Rishan 46, Bonny 30 and Jamesbond 32* and bowled out 10-man SCCC for 90 runs in 26.3 overs with Kenedy (3/28), Lanleiba (2/3) and Bidyashwor (2/20) leading the demolition work.
Borish, Taibanganba, Johnson M, Tomthinganba, Rahul of SCCC shared a wicket each in YUCC's innings before Tomthinganba 22, Taibanganba 21, and Rahul 14 registered double digit figures in the chase.
Bidyashwor of YUCC was eventually adjudged man of the match.
Elsewhere at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, SHADOW upstaged RULE by 8 wickets for the 3rd win in 6 matches.
RULE opted to bat first but slumped to a meagre 34 runs in 18 overs as 6 batters fell on ducks with S Lanchenba (5/12 in 6 overs) of SHADOW enjoying a five wicket haul and Th Lanchenba claiming three wickets (3/2 in 3 overs) .
SHADOWN the chased down the target in 8.3 overs despite losing the openers cheaply.
Lanchenba of SHADOW deservingly sealed the man of the match trophy.
