Superplate Tournament: MPSC seal 4-wicket win as KCC beat PCC by 37 runs

MPSC outplayed YWC-L by 4 wickets while KCC beat PCC by 37 runs in the 3rd MNCA Superplate Tournament on Wednesday.
MPSC dismissed YWC-L for 108 in 34.1 overs and then they chase down the target in 29 overs for their dominant 4-wicket win at Public Ground Khangabok Part-III, Cherapur.
Kingson and Bijoykumar led the way in the MPSC bowling attack, claiming 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Indraban, Shangker and Gelson took one apiece for the team.
For YWC-L, N Bishwash (29), N Bingson (28) and Y Vivek (13) were the main run-getters in their innings.
In reply, MPSC rode on knocks by Gelson (41), Sudesh (25) and Sunil (19) to complete the chase in 29 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process.
For YWC-L, Vivek, Prasantamani and Robinson each took 2 wickets in a losing cause.
KCC, meanwhile, relied on N Shingthoi's bowling heroics to defeat PCC by 37 runs at Model Hr Sec School & Oriental College Ground.
Asked to bat, KCC scored 181 after being bowled out in 38.5 overs.
KCC's total was built on opener K Mranojit's 60-run knock, aided by N Arbin's 35, M Rohen's 24 and Y Sheiteendra's 19 .
In the process, they lost 3 wickets to M Lucky, 2 each to L Ronald and Pravin Kumar, and one to Th Anand.
KCC then stopped PCC at 144/9 in 40 overs as fighting efforts by Ch Ranjan (35) and L Gibson (31) went in vain.
N Shingthoi turned hero for KCC with an impressive haul of 4 wickets while Y Sheiteendra, W Somorjit and N Arbin bagged one wicket each in their side's victory.
