Unclaimed drugs seized in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, November 01 2011: The 11 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division today destroyed unclaimed drugs seized at the outposts of Khongsang and Akhui from passenger vehicles coming from Jiribam to Tamenglong.

The unclaimed 60 kgs of yeast for making local liquor was seized by the out post at Khongsang on 29 October 2011 from passenger vehicle MNO1W2624 coming from Jiribam to Tamenglong.

Another 142 bottle bottles of bear Tuborg was also seized by the outpost at Akhui from Marshal Passenger service MN05A2429 coming from Jiribam to Tamenglong.

The seized items were destroyed in front of the media person today at 11 AR camp.
